Holy Land cruise group spends the night in the Old City of Jerusalem

The Bible study Holy Land cruises scheduled for May 6, 2012 and October 13, 2012 Bible cruises both overnight at a lovely Lutheran Guest House inside the Old City of Jerusalem. Guests who sail with Living Passages on their Bible study cruises will be able to stay inside the walls of the Old City for the night. When they wake up the next morning, from the lovely terrace they will have a view of the Dome of the Rock.

“The guest house is one of our favorite additions on our all inclusive Bible study cruises” said Rhonda Sand, their trip designer. We have some guests who are so excited that they wake up early and walk the rooftops of all four quarters of the Old City! Our lovely guest home is just steps away from Jaffa Gate and Ramparts Walk. “The overnight is something that our guests remember forever”, said Sand. At night after a long day of spiritually uplifting sights, guests have a sumptuous dinner and then great conversation on the terrace. The next morning because we are right in the Old City we get to enjoy a more exclusive and private morning before the hustle and bustle begins in the markets.

Living Passages guests leave the ship with their overnight bag and they return the following evening for dinner. “Pilgrimmage groups and trips don’t get to enjoy the intimacy of staying inside the Old City – it is something we enjoy lavishing on our participants”, said Sand. The guest house offers private bathroom facilities and rooms that are comfortable. “The rooms lack TV’s and modern day gadgets, but the memories what you get in return is well worth it. Waking up with that view and the sense of it all is something our new friends will remember forever”, said Sand.
