Dr. Erwin Lutzer Helps Bring to life the Rich History of the Reformation
Dr. Erwin Lutzer, Pastor of Chicago’s Moody Church, will lead and teach a German/Swiss Reformation tour from May 31st – June 12th, 2016. Dr. Lutzer has led many successful tours that highlight the important spiritual milestones of Martin Luther and the Reformers. The tour will visit Wittenberg, the birthplace of reformation, where Martin Luther nailed his 95 Theses (photo at right), challenging the Catholic Church. Additionally, the group will arrive in Wittenberg just prior to many wedding celebrations. The tiny town of Wittenberg is particularly famous for the many German couples who wish to make their marriage promises in the same quaint church as Martin Luther and his wife, Katharina von Bora. The tour alsospends two nights on lovely Lake Geneva in Switzerland along with leisurely time in Berlin, Munich and the other small towns made famous by Martin Luther.
This life-changing tour, led by Dr. Erwin Lutzer and his wife, Rebecca, also offers an extension to Prague for those with extra time. This 4-day extension visits unique sights like the Strahov Monastery, Prague Castle, and the Golden Lane. Additionally, you’ll be able to unleash your inner tourist as you enjoy the local shops and restaurants located at the Riverside city center.
As always, Living Passages completely plans the trip for you so all you’re left to do is book your spot!
