Reformation Heroes Tour

12 Days Exploring the Past and Future of Germany and Switzerland

2017 marks the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation, a momentous event in the history of the church. Against the backdrop of a corrupt church propagating works-based salvation and a flawed view of Christ, the reformers upheld Scripture’s true declaration that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. This is the topic of our Reformation Heroes Tour during the 2017 TMAI Conference event.

Experience this rich history in the land of the Protestant Reformation during our Reformation Heroes Tour 2017. You will be immersed in the sights and culture of key European cities. You will participate in the historic TMAI Reformation Conference in the city of Wittenberg, where it all began.

Host of the Reformation Heroes Tour, Dr. Mark Tatlock

Dr. Mark Tatlock serves as the president of The Master’s Academy International, professor of missions at The Master’s University & Seminary, and previously served as the executive vice president and provost of The Master’s University. Mark brings 18 years of executive administration experience to TMAI, and has been active in theological training for cross-cultural ministry within urban and international contexts.

About The Master’s Academy International

In 1986 Dr. John MacArthur enthusiastically raised the challenge: “Let’s replicate The Master’s Seminary all over the world.” And so the seeds fell and the ministry of TMAI was established to meet the need for pastoral training all around the globe. In the past decades, 17 training centers have been established on five continents, providing training to thousands of church leaders. TMAI is committed to fulfilling the Great Commission by training indigenous church leaders to be approved pastor-teachers, able to equip their churches to make biblically sound disciples.

Singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs

Biblical truths set to music is one of God’s ways to ensure that the Word continues to reform our minds. The reformers knew this well. This led them to have a renewed focus on biblical truths in their music and brought about the revival of congregational singing. As part of the Reformation Heroes Tour 2017 there will be an amazing line-up of events that will include a number of excellent choirs, an orchestra, a male conference choir, and a choice selection of incredible performers.
