I don’t feel we missed a single point of interest in Egypt. What a fabulous experience! Egypt in the Bible has so much more meaning to me.This is a private Christian cruise group for which we have our own Bible teachers and leaders onboard an already scheduled cruise itinerary. The Bible study vacation provides great fellowship and insight into these important sites. The cruise includes all private, Biblically focused tours and shore excursions, meals, hotels, transfers and teachings.
The Holyland cruise tour includes 2 days in Egypt including one overnight stay, tour of the Giza Plateau, the Egyptian Museum, the Nile, all tours and transfers, 2 days touring in Israel – including an overnight stay inside the walls of the Old City of Jerusalem, tours of Ephesus, the island of Patmos where John wrote the book of Revelation, Cyprus and Athens, Mars Hill and more! The cruise and tour provides for low air add-ons of $750 to $950 depending on your city of origination. There is an optional extension to Corinth for $449 per person. There has never been more Biblically-based, all-encompassing itineraries on such a lovely ship – the Azamara Quest! Ask about a balcony cabin with your own private ocean viewpoint. See below for full pricing and registration. We have an almost identical tour that begins in Israel to do Petra and departs the US on May 5. Both groups will join together on May 11 on our Galilee boat cruise and will stay together for the duration. Pricing on these cruises is different, with Petra being more.
On our visit to Israel, it’s hard to describe the feeling you will have standing inside the Garden Tomb (where we will share communion), or the intensity of looking out over the Valley of Armageddon. We will walk through Capernaum, where Jesus based His ministry on the shores of the Sea of Galilee. Imagine what it would be like to visit the Old City of Jerusalem, the Mount of Olives, and the Garden of Gethsemane. Special to our tour of Israel is our unique opportunity to spend the night in a Christian guest house inside the walls of Old Jerusalem. It will be a glorious morning to wake up and enjoy coffee overlooking the Old City as we study the Word of God together. This trip is so impacting for Christians that you’ll never again read your Bible in the same way. We will sail down the Nile very near the place where Moses was set in the water, come face to face with the Sphinx – and visit the inside of the mysterious Great Pyramid of Giza. We will walk the ancient streets of Ephesus – the jewel of the Mediterranean. We will also visit the tiny island of Patmos by private boat and travel up to the cave where John received the Book of Revelation. Also unique to our Lands of the Bible cruise itinerary is our full day passing through the engineering wonder – the Suez Canal. The Canal was the vision of Ramses II, Biblical King Necho, Darius and even Napoleon. The Holyland cruise ends with some relaxing moments on Greece’s favored island. Those who have flights after 2PM on our last day will enjoy a private teaching at Mars Hill prior to ascending the Parthenon in Athens.

Pastor Tim Remington
Born in Riverside, CA, Pastor Tim moved to Northern Idaho as a youngster, but after graduating from Coeur d’Alene High School in the 70’s, he returned to California where he met and married Cindy. Together, they operated the “Supreme Bean Coffee House” for a number of years, serving the streets of San Bernadino. It was this experience that developed their interest in the streets and the people who are ignored, those who have problems with drugs, alcohol, and perversion.
In 1985, Tim and Cindy began taking people into their home to help them. This practice grew into their Mentor Home Ministry and Good Samaritan Rehabilitation. Even though their street ministry days taught them much about drugs and alcohol that they could never learn in a classroom, Tim has been actively pursuing his degree in counseling. “But the degree has meant less to me than leading an addict to Jesus,” said Tim. “Now my life is filled with Victim-Offender Mediation, Family Mediation, Drug and Alcohol Counseling, and directing Good Samaritan Rehabilitation. And, I’m the senior pastor at The Altar in Coeur d’Alene.”
Tim is a favorite teaching pastor and has won numerous awards including Idaho’s annual Idaho Chooses Life gives it’s “Friend for Life Award” to people who have made extraordinary contributions to the defense of preborn children. We are grateful for their leadership and commitment to the Gospel of Life.
“Cindy and I have been blessed with four children. My love is my family and my Lord. My passion is to worship; my desire is to show the joy of the Lord to others in all that I do.”
