Depart home city; you can purchase your own air, or choose to use airline schedules already secured on Delta from Minneapolis and United from Newark (please see Terms and Conditions section, Airline Tickets).

Arrive in Barcelona and have a private tour of the Sagrada Familia by Antoni Gaudí, focusing on his laser-sharp depictions of the Gospel messages of Christ. You will have lunch in the city, then join your ship, the Celebrity Equinox, and have your first dinner together with your group.

You will have a day at sea to unwind, unpack, enjoy the pools and spa, and have a fellowship time of teaching and “meet and greet” between 4:00PM and 5:30PM. Dinner with the group or on your own is included during the entire trip.

Malta! You will have the full story of Acts 28. You will stand on the beach where he swam to shore, you will see the seas where they “collided” as Biblically outlined, you will see what is one of the probable anchors from Paul’s shipwreck, you will visit the cave where Paul lived on the island (and the church they built to commemorate it), plus lunch on the pretty waterfront and visit the famous walls of ancient Malta. Return to ship.

At sea again today, you sail the same waters of Paul. There will be a teaching time for fellowship and praise and worship from 3:00PM to 4:30PM.

Athens! Your very full day today will begin with a drive to the beach of Cenchrea, where Paul cut his hair to mark a vow, generally understood as a Nazirite vow, before sailing for Syria (Acts 18:18), then visit the site of ancient Corinth. You will enjoy a Farm lunch and then arrive in Athens, where your first stop will be Mars Hill for a teaching and then climb the Acropolis to see the ancient temples where Paul spoke boldly to the Athenians. You will have time for shopping in the pretty Plaka or ancient Jewish neighborhood and then return to your ship at 7:00PM for dinner.

You will have a Full day on the island of Santorini, arriving at the island at 7:00AM, and departing at 10:00PM. You will have ample time to explore the island and have a scenic view from the top of the caldera in Fira town. An optional tour to a Neolithic settlement called Akrotiri will also be offered, where the intriguing timeline of the Exodus will be discussed. You are welcome to return to the ship or stay on the island for sunset and dinner.

Today, you will be in Ephesus in Turkey! You will arrive this morning at 9:00AM, to visit the Emerald of the Mediterranean Sea. You will walk the streets where we know that Paul walked, stand in front of the temples of the gods of Ephesus, sit in the marketplace where he lived, and see some of the words and engravings of promise to those who learned of the gospel. Next, you will visit the actual burial site of the Apostle John, the Apostle whom Jesus loved. Afterwards, you will enjoy a spectacular lunch and a cultural gathering in a handicrafts area for native rugs. You will have free time late this afternoon for visiting the pretty waterfront at your leisure. 

Today, Mykonos will be featured from 7:00AM to 6:00PM. You can take a shuttle to the quaint city or register for an optional shore excursion (snorkeling, olive farm, etc). The island is very cute, and a day wandering the streets, having a waterfront fish lunch would be an incredible day in itself. You will gather with your group at 4:00PM again today for a teaching on the Apostle Paul.

Today will focus on Katakolon (Olympia), with your first stop at Ancient Olympia. The first thing that you will encounter when you enter the sacred grove is the largest ruin on the site, the temple of Zeus Olympios, which once held the gold and ivory colossus counted among the seven wonders of the world. When Antiochus IV desecrated the temple in Jerusalem, 2 Maccabees records that he ordered the house of the Lord renamed for this god specifically, and Daniel called what followed the “abomination of desolation.” You will have a nice lunch in the village and then visit the hill of Kronos, named for the Titan whom Zeus was said to have thrown down into Tartarus. Time permitting, you will visit the museum with its centaurs and hybrid world, the Hermes of Praxiteles, and much more. It will serve to bring the scene at Lystra to life: where the crowd took Paul for Hermes and Barnabas for Zeus (Acts 14). You will return to the ship for a late dinner on board.

Today, you will enjoy a Free day at sea for fellowship and to absorb everything that you have just learned! There will be a recap of Katakolon and the Seven Churches of Revelation today in two parts, one from 11:00AM to 12:30PM and another from 3:00PM to 4:30PM. You will enjoy your last night aboard ship and bid farewell to those not staying with us for the Rome optional extension.

After breakfast aboard ship, you will depart the pretty port, drive into Rome for your appointment at the Colosseum and then the Mamertine Prison where both Peter and Paul were chained. You will have free time for lunch near the Via del Corso and then visit the Forum to see the Arch of Titus, Nero’s burial place, and the massive temple areas of the Forum and Senate. For those who have enough energy to do so, you can climb the hill of the Forum and see the ancient inscription of the important Alexamenos graffito, of a man with a donkey head affixed to a cross during the time of the early church. Afterwards, you will walk to the Spanish Steps and other important monuments of Rome. Your farewell dinner this evening will include delicious, traditional Roman pizza.

You will have breakfast at your hotel, then those departing today will depart for the Fiumicino airport and arrive in the U.S. the same day.

After breakfast, you will visit a quiet Franciscan garden called Tre Fontana. It is here that Paul is known to have been beheaded. Next, you will be driven 30 minutes to a Catholic Church, built over the top of Paul’s crypt. It is at this church, St. Paul’s Outside the Walls, that you will see the crypt of the Apostle Paul, and yes, through X-ray imaging, it has been confirmed that this body lacks a head. You will have free time for lunch at the lovely Campo de’ Fiori. This afternoon, you will walk to the ancient Jewish area of Trastevere, your goal today being to step inside the lower level of a house called Regola. It is here where Paul had his home church while he was in Rome! You will have free time this evening to explore this beautiful city!

Today, you have an appointment to visit the Vatican, St. Peter’s Basilica, and the Vatican Museums. The Vatican Museums’ last display is the Sistine Chapel, where you can spend a few minutes admiring it. You will then cross the river and arrive at the Piazza Navona, where you can have free time for lunch. After a two-hour break, you will rejoin the group for a tour of the ancient Pantheon, with an impressive 2,000-year-old unreinforced dome. It was originally built as a temple and then became a Catholic Church. Your afternoon will end at Trevi Fountain, and you will have the rest of the evening to enjoy the shops, outdoor restaurants, and pretty side streets. Dinner will be on your own this evening.

You will have a free morning, depending on the timing of your flight. If you booked with the group air program, you will be provided with transfers to the airport for your flight home.
