Pastor Emeritus of The Moody Church Dr. Erwin W. Lutzer, served as the Senior Pastor for almost 40 years.
A respected expert and Biblical teacher, Dr. Lutzer has featured on radio programs with thousands of listeners and that go out across the country and the world. He is most well known for: Running to Win—a daily Bible-teaching broadcast; Moody Church Hour—The Moody Church’s Sunday morning worship service; and Songs in the Night—an evening program that’s been airing since 1943.
Along with his teaching work, Dr. Erwin Lutzer is also a renowned award-winning author. Some of his works include: Rescuing the Gospel, One Minute After You Die, When a Nation Forgets God, and Christian Bookseller’s Gold Medallion Award winner, Hitler’s Cross.
Dr. Lutzer is in international speaker and teacher whose addressed conferences and seminars in Russia, Germany, Scotland and many other countries around the globe!
Dr. Lutzer and his wife, Rebecca, live in the Chicago area. They have three grown children and eight grandchildren.

Famous all over the world for its nearly 400-year history of Passion Plays, the year 2020 will be a highlight in the Bavarian community of Oberammergau. Every ten years the town celebrates by once again taking part in a Passion Play.
