Abraham, Noah, and the Patriarchs of Biblical Shinar, Urartu, and Mesopotamia

Combine the mystery of the Tigris and Euphrates with the oldest Christian communities on earth, and you step straight into the pages of Genesis: Harran and the land of Shinar, the contending mounts of Noah’s Ark, Urfa and Antioch, the early church fathers and the See of Nisibis. Alongside them, you’ll additionally see the possibly pre-flood temple hills of Göbekli Tepe and Karahan Tepe. Joel Richardson and Living Passages have, once again, joined forces and stepped out on a deeper quest for biblical answers, with up-close visits to these rare archaeological sites and many more, reaching far into the truths of Genesis and the Torah together.
This journey runs eleven nights, with an option to add two nights in Cappadocia at the beginning as a pre-tour and/or two nights in Istanbul at the end of the tour. The trip includes all meals and all beverages, with all tips prepaid. Everything is handled. No visas are required, and this will be a very easy trip. The visit to the Tower of Babel can be an optional hike, a moderate climb of roughly 4.5 hours. Those who prefer not to hike will enjoy an optional visit to the old city of Mardin and then join the hikers at the Tower of Babel for a wonderful, farm-to-table lunch provided by our family hosts.
