OVERVIEW

TOUR OVERVIEW:

Join Pastor Bob Franquiz and Israeli archaeologist Eli Shukron on their quest to uncover the Biblical and archaeological evidence and the steps of the Lord Jesus Christ in Israel. After 4 days with Eli Shukron, you will be joined by an Israeli guide who will enhance your journey through the balance of the Land of Israel. While in Israel, you will learn of the greatest story ever told! You will spend 5 nights in Jerusalem and then spend time in the Galilee—where Jesus lived and walked, then the Dead Sea areas, and, finally, near the Mediterranean to end your trip near the sea at Joppa.

The selected visits while in Jerusalem include the miraculous Old Testament archaeology and the areas surrounding the teachings of Christ Jesus. Eli will showcase the newest archaeological discoveries surrounding Israel, the Second Temple, the Pool of Siloam, Temple Zero, the Pilgrims’ Route to the Second Temple, Shiloh, and the wall of Rahab at Jericho. Next, you will move on to the Galilee to visit the sites where Jesus lived and taught. You will also spend time near the Dead Sea at Masada, Qumran, Bethlehem, and so much more!

The trip cost for the Israel portion only is $4,399 per person, double occupancy. You may also book a single room or request to share with a roommate, as we do match roommates. The air add-ons will vary depending on whether you include the Rome extension. The optional land portion for the Rome extension is $2,399 per person, sharing a double room. The Rome extension price includes your flight from Tel Aviv to Rome with the group. On the Rome extension, you can book a single room or book as a double and request that we locate a roommate for you.

We have blocked group space from Miami, or you are welcome to obtain your own air tickets. If you match the group’s arrival and departure schedules, you may also utilize the group’s transfers to and from the airport. The per-person deposit is $850, and the final payment is due on July 1, 2026, but bookings will continue until the day of departure (if available).

Now when Jesus came into the district of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say that the Son of Man is?” 14 And they said, “Some say John the Baptist, others say Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” 15 He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” 16 Simon Peter replied, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
– Matthew 16:13-16

  • City of David, Temple Zero (also known as the ancient Melchizedek Temple), Pool of Siloam, Hezekiah’s Tunnel, Pilgrims’ Path, free time for lunch, Archaeological Park, Trumpeting Stone; Jewish Quarter. Dinner at the hotel.
  • You will meet Eli in the lobby this morning (8:00AM) and be driven to the diamond of Jerusalem—the City of David.  Here, you will walk through a recently completed archaeological dig, and you will also be able to see the activity of a current archaeological dig. While here, you have a very rare opportunity to see one of the most compelling sites in all the Middle East. Eli Shukron calls it Temple Zero, though it’s also known as the ancient Melchizedek Temple. Next, you will be guided into the active archaeological site – the Pool of Siloam. You will also have a choice of either transiting the Dry or the stunning Wet tunnel that was created by King Hezekiah. Eli will also escort you into the very recently opened Pilgrims’ Path, which once connected the Pool of Siloam to the later built Jewish Temple of Solomon and Herod.  After an exhilarating morning, you will be given free time for lunch. Next stop: Jesus! Your next visit is to the fallen walls of ancient Jerusalem, where Jesus foretold that every stone would be turned. You will have the opportunity to study the remains at the Archaeological Park, including the mysterious Trumpeting Stone. You will then make your way to the Southern Steps. It has been attested that Jesus himself walked up these steps into the walled city of Jerusalem to meet with those in the Temple built by King Herod. You will walk through the fresh and lively Jewish Quarter to see further remains from the time of the Temple. You will have dinner at the hotel this evening.

  • Temple Mount. Free time for lunch in the Old City. Drive into Judah and the hills of Benjamin to visit Shiloh, stop at Jericho to see Rahab’s standing wall. Nighttime driving tour of Jerusalem. Dinner at the hotel.
  • This morning, you will join Eli for an archaeological and futuristic discussion on top of Temple Mount, even adjacent to the Golden Gate and the Al Aqsa Mosque. You will have free time in the Old City for shopping and a quick lunch. You will then rejoin your bus and be driven 40 minutes into Judah and the hills of Benjamin to visit Shiloh, which is quite impressive. It is here that the Ark of the Covenant rested for 369 years. This archaeological site is very exciting. It is also here where the story of Hannah took place and where the Tribes of Israel were granted their tribal inheritances. Another important stop for early Israel and a treat that few are able to see is a visit to Jericho with Eli Shukron. Due to the depth of Eli’s knowledge, he will be able to explain to you the story of Rahab, the spies, the walls, and “why Jericho?” and “why Rahab?”. You will even see the only standing wall from the time of the Exodus and hear Eli’s explanation, which will bless you. After this amazing day, you will be returned to the hotel and then be driven around Jerusalem to see many of the viewpoints at night. You will say goodbye to Eli this evening.
