OVERVIEW

TOUR OVERVIEW:

Join Pastors Justin Peters and Jim Osman on a Bible study tour of Israel and The Land where Jesus walked. All of the critical sights and sites of the Bible are mentioned, and even more will be seen, which are too numerous to mention. We will be making the most of visiting the land of the Bible, and our visits and stops will be geared toward easy walking and accessibility.  We have made provisions for both those who want to get in some great hikes and foot-based exploration, as well as those who may be inhibited.

First is the Land of Israel, which is outlined in the Torah. The planned journey contains some of the most vital and momentous accounts in both the New and Old Testaments. Join Justin and Jim in their quest to reveal the scriptural evidence and the steps of the Lord Jesus. The selected visits while in Jerusalem include the miraculous Old Testament archaeology, and the areas surrounding the teachings of Christ Jesus, and where He was and where He Will Be.

Please be sure to speak with our office staff if you have questions. Our proximity to the Old City provides ample avenues for some fascinating exploration. The total cost of the Israel tour is $4,379 per person (double occupancy, plus the cost of airfare).  At the time of brochure printing, we have an air option from Newark, New Jersey, and an air option from Los Angeles. The tour includes all hotels for 8 nights, plus 8 full days of touring and teaching, all meals (with the exception of 3 lunches), all entrance fees, teachings, fuel surcharges, private bus and touring and the visa for Israel, including departure taxes, and water on the bus and in the hotel for the duration of your tour.  For those who might be mobility-challenged, there is a special accommodation for up to 3 participants who require the use of a mobility application*.  Please see page 3 of this brochure for more information. Insurance options will be emailed to you at the time of booking, or you may contact us for more information.

This tour is unique in that we have a special bus to accommodate guests with walking limitations (and who may need devices to aid in their participation), yet the tour won’t limit those who enjoy activity. In many cases, there will be one drop-off for those who want to explore on foot without restriction and another drop-off closer for those who prefer to limit walking. It is the bus and special rooms with access that make this possible.

    • February 14, 2026: Saturday
    • Travel north to Tel Dan, Banias (Caesarea Philippi), Druze lunch, and Bental. Continue to the Dead Sea. Overnight: David Dead Sea Hotel.
    • You will travel north to Tel Dan this morning. You will have a pretty drive, high above the Sea of Galilee, and stop for some commanding viewpoints. Your first stop is Tel Dan; this important ancient city has an altar that was used by the tribes who separated and worshipped here. In addition, you will see the ancient Abraham Gate very near the front city gates and more. A short drive from here is the place where The Lord Jesus Christ first asked Peter, “Who do you say that I am.”  Banias—Caesarea Philippi—was home to ancient pagan worship of Pan and many other small gods. You will partake of a lunch, served to you by a unique people—the Druze. The Druze have special privileges from the Israeli government due to their ancient generational importance, as they are associated with Jethro, the High Priest of Midian, who was the Father of Moses’ wife and also gave counsel to Moses on laying out the judicial system at Mount Sinai.  Afterwards, you will stop at Bental, which is an overlook that has been used by the military, has a charming coffee shop, and some abandoned war machines. The view below you is Damascus! You will enjoy the scenery through the ancient lands and then arrive at the Dead Sea for an overnight stay and dinner.

      Overnight: David Dead Sea Hotel.

    • Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

    Qumran Israel
    • February 15, 2026: Sunday
    • Free morning at the Dead Sea (lunch on your own). Afternoon visits: Qumran, Masada, Ein Gedi, Mount Scopus. Overnight: Ambassador Hotel, Jerusalem.
    • Today is a free morning for you in the amazing waters of the Dead Sea; you might plan to have a spa treatment or just enjoy a leisurely breakfast and sleep in a bit. Lunch is on your own today. You may choose to grab a bite by the swimming pools or walk to the adjacent shopping area where you can grab a tasty, Israeli sandwich known as a falafel. After an early lunch, you will leave this hotel and be driven to Masada. You may choose to ascend Masada via the method that you choose – the quick cable car or hiking 45 minutes on the hiking path. Once at the top, you will have a very informative tour regarding King Herod’s masterful palace and learn the story of the final hours of the Israelites who fled here for safety. Next, you will stop at En Gedi and enjoy an inspiring walk to the waterfalls. En Gedi is the place of refuge where King David hid from Saul and where David found the opportunity to cut a tassel from the hem of Saul’s robe. Afterward, you will visit the site of Qumran, which has become an important place as we are learning more and more about the Essenes and their desire to serve the Living and true God, apart from the corruption of Jerusalem. Today, replicas of the Dead Sea scrolls can be purchased by all. The books and documents they chose to hide and save for future generations are both Biblical and extra texts and are certainly historical treasures. Afterwards, you will take a quick drive to the view-of-views, Mount Scopus. Oh, Jerusalem! Then you will check into your hotel, located very near the Damascus Gate of the Old City and the Garden Tomb. It has quick and easy access to the Old City if you have some free time and wish to explore.
