Join Pastor Dave McGarrah on his 3rd expedition to Northwest Saudi Arabia and the real Mount Sinai.  Since Saudi Arabia opened in 2019, Pastor Dave has investigated the richness of the Exodus route through Saudi Arabia and into Petra—the rose-red, hidden city of the Nabataeans, named after Naboth, one of Abraham’s descendants. This is where the Hebrews spent 38 of their 40 years of wandering. In Arabia, know that you are one of the few early entrants to see this special, hidden place. You will spend time visiting the archeological aspects of Midian—the Land of Jethro and his son-in-law, Moses. You’ll see the massive, Split Rock of Horeb, where Moses struck the boulder and God miraculously provided water from within the rock. You’ll personally survey Jabal al-Lawz (Mount Sinai), with its charred and blackened summit, ascertained to be the original Mount Sinai upon which Yahweh descended in fire. You’ll discover for yourself why Jewish and Bedouin traditions have continued for centuries to refer to this peak as “The Mountain of Moses.” You’ll also visit the stone altar under Elijah’s Cave, the Golden Calf Altar, the small oasis of Elim, where the miracle of the quail took place, the Nuweiba Crossing site where Yahweh split the Red Sea, the cemetery of the 3,000 killed by the Levites at Aaron’s Altar, Moses’ Altar where the first covenant was given, and so much more! During your time at the site of Jabal al-Lawz, you will be camping for 3-nights in a fully -supplied camp complete with mobile bathrooms, full tents with carpets, high-end cots, bedding, sumptuous meals and a raging fire each evening around which to enjoy fellowship together as you prepare for each day’s journey—deep into the Torah and God’s promises to then the Hebrews. Your itinerary includes a night in a hotel for your first night and your last two nights in Saudi Arabia, so that you have full use of the facilities there to prepare for your camp stay, and then unwind a bit before coming out of the Wilderness of Sinai.

Pastor Dave has thought of everything: all meals, all food and beverages, all tips, all accommodations, visas for Jordan, round-trip airfare from Boise, departure taxes, Bedouin guides to take you up to Mount Sinai, and your fully-rigged Land Cruisers, with Saudi drivers. What an amazing adventure he has planned for you! You will end your trip with a transfer back into Jordan, then a 2-hour drive to Petra and a tour through this mysterious, hidden city. Finally, you will be driven to the Ammonite city of Amman, where you rejoin Turkish Airlines for your flight back to Istanbul, then to Seattle, then on to Boise.

The total trip cost for this expedition is $5,199 per person and includes airfare, tips, Jordanian visas, and all meals. For a private room (no roommate), the total price of the expedition is $5,845. Your deposit is $1,050 per person.
