EMBARK ON AN ANCIENT JOURNEY

Since 2019, Joel has been able to increase more of the Biblical story of the Exodus in Arabia.  As a scholar on Saudi Arabia and the aspects of the Israelites in this land, this particular journey includes ALL OF THE MAJOR SITES of the Exodus, including the Altar of Moses, Golden Calf, the Mountain of Jabal al Lawz, Maqla, Midian, home of Jethro, the Well of Moses, the well of Moses and Zipporah, the Red Sea crossing site, the Hisma Desert, the Wilderness of Sinai, the Split Rock of Horeb, Rephidim and so much more.  But in addition to these main explorations on all of Joel’s expeditions, he is adding the following sites for this particular longer journey. 

• The magnificent archers on the opposite side of Jabal al Lawz consistent with Exodus 19:10-14
• The Numbers stone of Numbers 20 that records numerous ancient Hebrew letters and incredible inscriptions of snakes with blessings and curses.
• A more intensive view of the cemetery of Exodus 32:28 along with shelters and food storage.
• Aynounah, the burial ground of Abraham’s children, also called the oasis of Leuce.
• An Amalekite “high place” with its inscriptions of decadence on the top altar.
• The controversial mold’s and furnaces plateau.
• Jewish burial circles at Rephidim.
• The Arabah.

Joel continues to add to his sights, and being with him, with this extra time will provide you with lots more opportunities to view God’s word – alive in stone. 

The foundational narrative of the Exodus, as outlined in the second book of the Torah of Yahweh, contains some of the most vital and momentous accounts in all of the Old Testament. The quest to uncover the archaeological and geological evidence of the Israelites’ liberation from Egypt, Moses’ revelation at Mt. Sinai, and the nation of Israel’s ensuing desert wanderings have captured the hearts and minds of some of history’s most brilliant scholars and explorers. Cartographers, archaeologists, scientists, adventurers, historians, and disciples of all backgrounds have sought-out the genuine locations depicted in ancient manuscripts. Finally, with the advent of state-of-the-art technology and the region’s ever-increasing political stability, the northwest corner of Arabia has begun to divulge its buried secrets.

Survey the Jabal al-Lawz mountain, with its charred and blackened summit ascertained to be the original Mount Sinai upon which Yahweh descended in fire. This particular expedition includes sights that were only recently discovered in 2024 and therefore, this particular journey is longer than Joel’s previous expeditions.

This expedition of Biblical proportions starts at $4,898 per person (sharing a double room). The optional Jordan, Exodus extension is only $899 per person (sharing a double room). Keep in mind that we will gladly match roommates! Our air program is out of Washington, Dulles, on Turkish Airlines with an add-on of $1,283 per person. This air schedule also includes border crossings, extra visa and meet and assist services to provide seamless transitions into and out of Saudi Arabia.
