In northwest Saudi Arabia, an oasis called Al Bad’ still goes by a far older name: Madyan. Caves there carry Jethro’s name, and a well nearby is called the Well of Moses. French archaeologist Guillaume Charloux confirmed the identification in a peer-reviewed survey.
